Got some mahoosive steaks. Local animals deadified and butchered. Expensive but worth it.

Happy staying in the sticks.

You can have a steak off with @birch-chorley as he’s currently in my favourite steak restaurant spending a fortune 😂

After more thinking it seems a bit harsh on those already out there. We should be on holiday not too far from Barcelona right now but it was cancelled. If it wasn't I would be a bit peeved if I had to isolate on return but I work from home; big problem if you are a self employed plumber though.

How do you determine who has been to high infection areas?

You ask folk to declare where they are going before travel, and anyone flying into high rate areas is instantly asked to quarantine on return. Yes you can’t police it but better than a blanket quarantine that kills tourism across the whole of Spain.

“You can’t police it”

Must be nice up in that cloud of yours.

But Spanish tourism isn’t the concern of the British government.

They're cut like a stone door step. T bone and rib eye. Marvellous.

Also some beef lorne sausage, aged skirt, pork joint and sausages and lamb chops. All raised on their farm.

Which farm pal and where please? Love finding new places

TUI will have been cancelling lots of holidays again today.

Unless they've changed their mind since this morning jet2 are still flying folk out to Spain.Big lack of respect to the UK govt from Jet2 if you ask me

They’ve not said you can’t go, just you got to self isolate. Given the choice I’d go on holiday and self isolate. Or pretend  I’ve got symptoms and get a test after day 3.

WHO consultant Daniel Lopez Acuna says 14 regions of Spain have lower average infection rates than the UK. 3 regions are higher. He says the quarantine restrictions are unfair.

That begs the question - why are spain letting the Brits in ?

Answer: The wonga.

Its not for Britain to risk its own peoples health, in order to help the Spanish economy.

Foreign office advice - Only essential travel to mainland Spain - this means everybodys travel insurance is invalid.TUI cancelled all holidays to Spain immediately Jet 2 said this morning they were still doing their holidays to mainland Spain

Re the Spanish islands. TUI said anyone could cancel and get full refund if they wanted, jet2 refused to offer this

It’s impossible to do it any other way.

like when wee jimmy still had Spain Banned two weeks ago. My mate and his bird went to Tenerife from Manchester. Drove back straight from airport no quarantine. It’s impossible.

so whilst we may not like it this is the only way of doing it if they are worried about spikes in other countries

Moral of the story is go to Greece 😂

fuck that

We dont need the all day breakfast crew in greece

No it's not, but Britain having been risking the health of its own people since the start of Covid, with their unclear wishy washy messages and advice.

I must say it’s very amusing watching people who’ve been backing Boris to the hilt despite clear fuck ups, now having a pop at him for a hasty decision that may put a dampener on their €2 San Miguel’s and karaoke sessions in Beni.

All of a sudden, they can’t go to work but they’re ok jetting off to a country with rising infections.

Fucking pondlife

Which are 2 seperate things completely.

I'm assuming you are saying they should risk everyones health, because they already have been doing that ?

Or learn from mistakes, and do something that may save lives ?

(And by saving lives, I mean both Spanish & British).

Good luck with that.

Tui cancelled my hols due to Covid, then charged 95% of the price paid as a cancellation fee.

Spent around 15 hours on hold this week trying to get it sorted.
