She’s been poorly for a while and I’ve had messages off loads on here so thanks very much, means a lot.

Dreading the funeral because of the restrictions but needs must.

She left me a letter which has so utterly floored me that I’m incapable of anything, but she mentions the Wanderers, and is convinced the good times will return.

They’re ace, mums.

Thoughts are with you pal. Sure we will all join you in here to raise a glass for her.

Sorry to hear that mate, I know it’s been expected but from what you’ve said you did the best for her throughout and until the end, that’s what any mum would be proud of. 
 

take care, best to the family and next time you find yourself in the great big shitehole that is London, let’s go for that long overdue beer.

Well the letter part did for me, what a thing to do. Very sorry to read your news and the same for everyone else on here who's suffering. Stay strong, Spider.

Sad to hear that your mum has passed, fantastic that she left you a letter, and you’re right mums are ace, sadly lost mine over 20 years ago, but I remember the good times and still can see her smile if I close my eyes.
