You're rehoming him?  He's a bonny lad. Where's he off to?

He was meant to go to my other half aunt and uncle but it fell through in November due to long story

But he's gone to a couple who have dog sat him every time we've been away for the past 9 years, and have a dog of their own, and a steady stream of other dogs staying with them

Honestly couldn't be happier with where he ended up because it's all as familiar as it could be

Just funny they now have two dogs both called Alfie

That's possibly the evilest thing I've seen AI used for, outstanding work @Spider

Could have been worse. At least he didn’t undress Zico 😄

All the best for the move @Zico. Sounds like a brutal week but will be worth it in the end.

Just had to put mine to sleep

Absolutely fucking heartbroken

Already feels like I've lost my right arm

Dogs are ace, but fuck me it's really hard to say goodbye

Horrendous and easily one of the hardest things you can through.

You'll have been their whole life x

Sorry to hear your news sir.

We had a close shave at Xmas, just making the most of her now.

The big question….will you get another ?

Awful news - so sorry to hear. Been there several times like a lot of folks and it’s really tough. No magic wand although like any grieving the sadness is eventually replaced by the great memories. Stay strong.

The dog we have now is 12, diabetic and blind. He’s an absolute trooper who means the world to us. Can’t even think about him not being here. God knows how I’ll cope!

Ours was 13.She had a tumour since she was a pup and had 2 major operation as they could not remove it all but you wouldn't have ever guessed it.The hard bit is that Friday morning she went from acting like a knob ed to struggling to walk. The good thing is she didn't seem to suffer. The bad news was it happened out of the blue so we were not prepared for it

Sorry to hear this, it's an awful time. Mate lost his recently and has already said he's never having another as its just too painful.  We managed to wait 8 or 9 months last time and he's nearly 13 now with a few health issues and insurance claims stacking up.  We can't even bring ourselves to talk about what to do when the inevitable happens. 😪

Love this guy

Absolutely.

Seen one or two of his things before.

Proper dog whisperer.

I was watching one of these American police chase jobs the other day, and a cunt stabbed a police dog.

It came back whimpering and struggling to walk.

Touch and go as paramedics fought to save it, as it was bleeding out.

Both it's handler and his colleague were deeply upset.

I was welling up, routing for the thing.

Fortunately, another police dog had "donated" blood, and it was saved.

Made the press, and the dog was inundated with treats and toys from the public.

Under the circumstances, I was surprised that the officer had released the dog, as the cunt was trapped on the stairs of a house he had broken into, and it didn't seem necessary.

In the end the saving grace was that the "perp" didn’t get to see the bottom of the stairs, as he ended up like a colander.
