Can’t win I know wife’s school ended up delivering and loads never bothered to collect. Tax payers money being chucked away, Labour don’t give a fuck about protecting hard working tax payers. It’s just a political point scoring exercise to dismantle the red wall. Edited October 27, 2020 by Mounts Kipper

I can’t think of another reason, food banks, countless charities, free meals in abundance from goodness of thousands of businesses, food plentiful and cheap in supermarkets. There is no excuse. I don’t have school-age children but the ones I interact with had lessons delivered to them by email and spoke to teachers by Zoom. They had such contact at home so the issue of how schools were able to make contact other than by email/Zoom never arose. If such contact was made, I’m fairly sure that information deemed important to recipients of free school meals would be passed in other ways. Tax payers money being thrown away? Heaven forbid. Still, I think we've already established that whatever Boris says, you'll accept unquestioningly. Ani
Jesus. Some of the threads on Twitter are brilliant. Typical. Some bloke explaining how by getting 12 meals out of a joint of beef he and his wife can eat for under £5 per day and does not need a black footballer telling him what to do. (The use of Black and the fact he has not be told what to do annoys people as much as the claim) The responses mainly involve people quoting price from their local Waitrose. There is very little tolerance out there. Makes this place feel incredibly reasonable.
