Italy not qualifying at it stands

They're assured of a play off place even if they finish bottom of this group on 0 points due to their Nations League performances.

You have to try very very hard to not qualify.

I like them simply because I hate friendlies. Think nations league could be good. Will be a bit pointless when everyone except San Marino will be qualifying in 2032 mind.

The colour coded table in this offers a handy/mind-blowing guide to the play off bit.

They genuinely may as well automatically seed the top rated teams into tournaments and save everyone the hassle.

Udogie and Phillips should have both seen second yellows, Foden, Bellingham and Kane were outstanding.

Bellingham's defensive play and counter for Rashford's goal was proper class, him,  Mbappe and Haaland are gonna have a good battle for the future Balon D'or's after this years.

Him and Foden are god tier.

In a social media post, Europe's governing body for football stated: "UEFA can confirm that a moment of silence will be observed at all UEFA EUR0 2024 qualifying matches tonight in memory of all the members of the European football family killed in recent days in Europe and Israel."

Palestine isn't a country we recognise, so I guess the FA are meaning everyone in what we consider as Israel

If you read what i posted, it was instruction from UEFA

Plenty countries in UEFA do recognise Palestine

So, its all a bit hard to fathom

Still doesnt excuse any disrespect

Shaw and Chilwell both injured

Aye, appreciate that. No Saka neither.

Just a shame that no one else available.

When Rashford scored, it was a run wide that took a defender away and created a gap.

We fully deserved it last night- much better second half, just an annoyance that we were a touch narrow because of those injuries.

I don’t see how anyone can complain about last night England we’re just excellent and if you needed any example of how to play it out from the back then that second half was a master class. All you need are quality players like Foden, Bellingham and Rice to pick the ball up and hey presto. Ian should take note that if you don’t have players like that then find another system!! 🤗

Whilst Southgate is in charge you'll always have negative Nellies moaning, because he's a nice guy and sometimes says stuff like 'racism is bad'.
