The only reason we still have boats is the lack of political will from governments to do anything about it properly. Will reform succeed? Who knows, I guess time will tell. One thing for sure; they at least have said they will take those stronger political decisions. As for the EU, it didn't stop Italy, Greece etc from being invaded. They did something about it though. Hungary also did something about it. Yes they were run by an authoritarian bell end in general, but at least they stood strong against it. They were fined by the EU for doing so too. Quote
