No, but my previously Brexitty/Conservative-voting inlaws are no longer Brexitty or Conservative, which is both heart-warming and tragic. They feel like they've been taken for a proper ride over the last few years.

Scum, people like that. Scum and traitors. So I’m told.

My Auntie hates Meghan so much she ends up defending Andrew. It's quite remarkable.

What’s to argue about? Bit strange.

daily mail royalist uncle been down the pub early doors

Got back, got all up the royals on us after the speech

Then ranting about Meghan

Other half said you shouldn't believe everything in the papers, maybe watch their documentary to see their side of it

He didn't like that, got a bit on the front foot

Asked do we believe everything we read in the papers about Andrew? Yes, so it's no different etc

Then got a bit sweary in front of the little one

She didn't like that

You could've cut the Christmas dinner atmosphere with a carving knife

Not the worst but there's history between them and an edge

Might make the derby game now, so every cloud

When the Turkey was carved, you should have said you’d have the dark meat.

That's generally my approach to life

The other half can't leave things alone though, and holds grudges

So we're driving home now, and I'll probably miss the offy, which is a blow

Co-Op's aren't closing till 8, and even after that there'll be a shop open somewhere. Bought 2 emergency bottles of wine yesterday at 5PM. Inshallah!

Midway though party games yesterday everyone having fun the wife's grandma announces she hopes she's dead by next Christmas that put a dampener on the day. If her usual behaviour is anything to go on she was just fishing to be centre of attention still a hell of a bomb to drop.

Been to see my parents today my dad is still in home isolation following his stem cell transplant so a visit from his grandson and granddog cheered him up. He was hoping to come to tomorrow's game having missed all since October but no such luck.

A massive benefit of multicultural society. Probably the most important and practical one.
