Netflix is ace.

Loads of good stuff on there.

Resorting to documentaries with misleading or inaccurate video footage, starring an "adopted" Prince and a b grade actress, telling their story without any evidence to back up claims.

Kerching 1-0 Quality.

Like I'm ever going to watch that shite.

The Royals hold no interest for me. Why on earth do you think an ex royal would?

Midway though party games yesterday everyone having fun the wife's grandma announces she hopes she's dead by next Christmas that put a dampener on the day.

First time I read I thought you meant she hoped Meghan would be dead.... bit harsh

A massive benefit of multicultural society. Probably the most important and practical one.

Our local multicultural grocer/newsagent/offy takes it personally if you go in and don't want a keg of Carling or similar. He must get rid of loads.

T’lad is back amongst his people, chuffed with his presents and dusted off every scrap of his (somewhat rare) roast beef. Christmas can start now.

That’s really good to hear 👍

Pretty much a dry day today. Ferried mother around. Got home. Watched The Great Escape with a glass of Malbec and a JD. Boxing Day will be the usual hideous experience when all the pikeys descend on here. The ostracised family baghead has been invited up to Manc this year, the warring stepdaughters will do their usual and piss everyone off, and the SiL will be face down in a ham salad by 4pm leathered and talking broken biscuits by 4pm. I’ll get called a miserable bastard and fuck off to find any sport that I can on the telly. Standard

Thankfully relatively uneventful today

They were all massively hungover from yesterday’s carnage that I thankfully missed. Bit tense between the youngest stepdaughter and her BF as he’d vomited all over her £300 lounge rug last night, and Baghead Billy is off the gear but drank a whole bottle of neat Disarrano and passed out. SiL sat in a corner as expected mumbling shite after a bottle or two of Prosecco and I got called an ignorant fucker for sitting in the front room watching Villa/Liverpool with the FiL

Thank god that’s over for another year

Quietest Christmas ever just 3 of us for dinner.
Kids went to dads for dinner and then their partners families later.

Today watched lots of football.

Football all day tomorrow but driving.

So did anyone else see heated household debates post King's Speech centering around Meghan Markle?

We're coming home a day early because of ours

I’m still flummoxed as to why a family would be split about those two.

Me too but some people seem to really hate Meghan

Its that funny day where nobody knows what the fuck they are doing.

Im out working in town. Half the gaffs shut, half open, folk just wandering about for the sake of it.

Is today a drinking day?

Do I go gym?

Even my butty shop has fucked it off.

That new junction set up at Blackburn Rd ASDA worked like a dream this morning, great work by all the planners and construction lads involved.

There was only me using it though, what with everyone else deciding to stay in bed.

A cat

Cafe?

This is an abomination. Worse than mushy peas on Turkey. Worse than lobby.

Fuck me, I might just do a Bolty and pretend it’s 1968 again and ignore modern life.
