Paul Weller

Piss taking aside, The Jam were absolute quality back in my youth, Weller was at his best when he was young and angry.

If there was a better live band around in '78,'79',1980 i must have missed them.

Time moves on, but Weller has staked his place in history and in 50 - 100 years time people will still be discussing his music in the same vane as Dylan and Lennon.

The blokes a legend and people should respect his talent.

As for his appearance, we'll all get old and look a bit fucked sooner than we think.

In todays throw away society, i don't think many of todays artists will be remembered for much longer than an episode of Love Island..

Stanley road is a belting album

It's alright, I think I'm against his solo stuff because he makes such a deal of explaining how his music has got better as he has matured.

And I'm thinking....NO...YOU CAN'T GET ANY BETTER than what I grew up loving.

Fucking hell, this has divided opinions I didn't expect.

I like Paul Weller and not sure why people are slagging him off, but found that photo and caption by Cheese funny as fuck.

I am also a big fan of Paul Weller.

Loved The Jam.

Style Council were absolute dogwank though

This. Absolutely and utterly this. The Jam and and The Clash were everything that all the “punk” bands wanted to be but didn’t have the talent

Style Council. Put them in the same bin as the Fun Boy Three. Horrible 80’s bandwagon “jumpers tucked into jeans with poncey haircuts” utter fucking shite

Cheese’s post was funny btw
