If there was a better live band around in '78,'79',1980 i must have missed them. Time moves on, but Weller has staked his place in history and in 50 - 100 years time people will still be discussing his music in the same vane as Dylan and Lennon. The blokes a legend and people should respect his talent. As for his appearance, we'll all get old and look a bit fucked sooner than we think. In todays throw away society, i don't think many of todays artists will be remembered for much longer than an episode of Love Island..
