It won’t count of course.

But it should.

Start including friendlies that aren’t even played to proper competition rules and the whole thing would become a farce. And I say that as someone who usually does at least two friendlies each summer.

You may as well give points out for turning at reserve games and supporters meetings.

It's going to be absolute carnage getting tickets for most aways this year I think.

It’s ok.

Because expectation is high and Evatt and Markham haven’t made any key transfers yet….

And because the current squad is weaker than it was last year…

We are not going to start on fire which means we can’t get automatic promotion…

So demand for aways will wane and by the time it gets to Reading away there won’t be issue 😊

I’m sure there will be plenty dropping out by the autumn when they realise how much of a commitment it is

Still cant understand why cup games are covered when a home ST doesn't.

Your 5 games are up with papa johns and league cup straight off.

Difficult though - imagine getting Accrington in SF Papa Johns again, and the buggers with away ST missed out

I wonder if you can drop out, or whether you've effectively signed some sort or binding contract. Not read the small print properly enough tbh.

Another thing I was thinking, say you've already previously rejected your 5 then it gets to a high demand game like Fleetwood. You contact them and say I don't want it/can't do it for whatever reason.

They're going to want as many tickets as possible to go on open sale. So I wonder if they charge you for it anyway but then release the actual physical ticket into open sale

Was thinking that myself if you dropped out, I guess it’s not like the season ticket where if you pay direct debit and default you can get blacklisted or something

looks like half of our lot are opting for this

Same as. A night match in December in between Christmas and New Year has got a day of darts & football on TV with the fire roaring written all over it

If we dont win our first 6 games by at least 3 goals then we can forget even the play offs.

I was using Fleetwood as an example. Any game. Say for madness we got Burton in play offs and I tell them I can't go as I'm plane spotting on Flight Radar that day. (And I've already gone past my 5 returns)

Does a ticket show up at my house anyway as I'll have paid for it but it goes unused, or do they charge me, put the ticket on open sale and charge someone else for it as well? We'll see I suppose, depends what air traffic is like that day.

I'm sure there will be at least one example in the 200+ that sign up who haven't genuinely considered what they're letting themselves in for who want to drop out. Be interesting to see what happens!

Booked train tickets for Burton away for me and my lad last week.

Because I go as his carer (he's autistic so doesn't need an ambulant seat) as it stands I HAVE to ring the ticket office the day they go on sale to order us both one. As you can imagine that's even worse than the 10am online rush.

Keeping my fingers crossed we manage to get them.
