To be fair what the fans do and say on here should have no relevance to the club. They talk the talk before these derbies and then turn up and play dismally, letting every one of us down.

I'm afraid it's been going on for generations. Our history since the 80s is pockmarked with truly shocking results like this against Bury and Wigan.

Over history the likes of Chelsea/United/Liverpool play against teams who hate them and their fans week in and week out - they prepare accordingly and have the right mentality to combat it. It means they rarely get rolled over by grudge-carrying smaller clubs We are an absolute million miles off that attitude in these games - and that's within the club, not outside of it amongst us.

It needs to stop and they need to buck up because it'll happen again against Blackpool and Wigan this very season if they don't.

Remember the other week when I was talking about Thomason always wanting the ball and not going missing?

Well our midfield in the first half was a classic example of footballers hiding in plain view.

I can’t give any of them a free pass 4-0 at home joke .

Hate this fixture more than the United one. They’ve got under our skin. More importantly, they’ve got under the players skin or should I say, their players know how much more it means to them.

why , after the referees were told keep the game flowing , book diving , time wasting , did the lanky steak of piss in the middle of the park let them get away with everything. 5 mins in the first half, goalkeeper was down for that amount of time alone.

We were shit last season against the better teams. That was the XI that barely laid a glove on Barnsley without Trafford, Bradley, Toal and Dion. Trying to play the same way with worse players... it's no wonder we got bounced.

Somebody needs to give IE a blocking this is the second time this as happened no plan B.

Total fucking let down. Baxter's limp wrist for the 4th summed the entire game up. Feel like a total mug for thinking we'd turned a corner character wise after winning at Cheltenham. Not expecting any sort of reaction at Burton (another fixture that never stops getting talked about) but God knows we need one.

I hate Wiggin, and Wiggin matches, and I’m not coming to the next one.

That was as bad as anything served up by Coyle, Megson, Hill or anyone.

I’d be hard pressed to pick a least worse today.

First off I'm not here to gloat but I said I'd post one win or lose. What a strange day where you had loads of possession but did little with it. You are loads better than that though and I believe you will go up but I remain optimistic we can make the play offs. Our young lads stepped up big time and in a game of fine margins did things correctly.  Thought we may miss Morrison but Watts played well as did young Hughes. Our two young lads in midfield were excellent.  It was just one of them days where nowt went right for you but I've no doubt you'll bounce back after today. Like I said I'm not here to take the piss so ill sling my hook.

The concern is we should have expected them to have had a bollocking at the interval. If they did it didn’t have the desired effects, poor all over the pitch. Santos and Jones ( captain and vice captain) our so called leaders, weak as piss.

Dan isn’t the answer by any stretch but he was better today than Charles was on Tuesday.  1 goal at home since Jan and weak in possession, he would have been part of the problem today ie not up to it physically. Dan was one of the few not to be out of his depth physically, certainly twice as good as Vic who just seems incapable of keeping any possession.

Main gripe on Evatt was how he sets up to defend a corner with 11 back and still not manage to mark their centre forward 6 yards out. And 2nd half 11 back with 3 attackers on the edge, all unmarked. Somebody explain.
