get on manchester rd in l/h & walkden, plenty to go at, straight on motorway to the ground to

mini bus of newcastle tipped up once

Always remember our first game in the PL at burnden

Tuesday night at 7.45pm

Loads of Newcastle in the beehive at 11am

It made me think the PL was big time and we'd made it

If we were at burnden why would they be in the beehive ?

I was surprised as never known fans to go in there but then again Why not?

Near a motorway junction, decent size, does food

Be like away fans going Westhoughton or Chorley before heading to the ground now, which they often do in big numbers

Can tell I’m tired as my first thought is why they’d be on Claremont road ha

It’s their biggest game for the last 20 years. Including Wembley 😀

We have took 5000 to Darlington. Getting big away numbers despite playing in a soulless industrial estate, they'd be more if your ground has an iota of character or central location.

That's not very "Carlisle fan in peace" is it.

Especially not when there's probably at least one member of this very forum on your message board piping your team off to the detriment of ours 😀

It's next door to a train station and the motorway

It's hardly Reading or Oxford

I will replace took with taken, and has was auto corrected from had. 😅

You get my sentiment though eh?

You play in a soulless industrial estate, the antithesis of traditional working class football.  Burnden park would've been more appealing but we wouldn't have been offered a potential 5000 tickets I suppose.

Burden would still be more appealing than your shitehole of a ground, 26 years after leaving it.

We have the biggest capacity ground in the UK with terracing, Brunton park is a beautiful living history piece of art of what football grounds used to be.

It will be a sad day when we leave.

Can you say the same about your mid 90's early incarnation of the scourge on football, the modern out of town sterile football ground?
