this is the one we got

it's takes up too much space and we didn't really think through where we could put it, but we love it

AF500UK_02?pgw=1

the feelings it gives me when using it

I can only imagine this is what it was like in the 1980s when microwaves first came on the scene and folk were like "it can do what? fuck me, this is life changing"

only thing i'll say

mine has settings for air fry, max crisp, roast, bake, reheat, dehydrate and prove

i know now, that I will only ever use it for air fry instead of the oven

i don't even know what "prove"" means

i now know how to air fry, i won't need the instruction booklet again

Same here, we use both functions so I'm told

All I ever seem to do is grill sausages and bacon  -  she does all the other stuff

If i ignore the 'im never buying apple' voice in my head, then you go ninja

You either go 15 in one or a 2 drawer one

If i was buying agai, id go 2 drawer...smaller cook area but can do pie in one, chips in the other

My 15 in 1 has more functions and can do a full chicken but nowt else at the same time

This is my only bug bear with it really.  Bought the 9 in 1 after reviews on here and it is great, bbq chicken is an absolute game changer, but not being able to do something else at the same time is a pain.  Putting the oven or hob on too seems a bit self defeating, particularly given the size of it.

For great chips - soak em for 20 minutes first. Pat dry, air fry for about 20 minutes. Shaking every 5. Thank me later.

Chips done in a fraction of that time in a deep fat frier.

No buggering about beforehand neither.

Switch machine on, peel spuds, wash and cut up. Straight into hot fat. Done.

Not sure I'll convince the Mrs. Spent a fortune remodelling and replacing the kitchen and then have 2 large robots sat on the counters. I know you're right though..

2 air fryers? Madness.

Mind you we have two fridges and three freezers.

I was given one by my sister who lost patience with it because she seemed to think it was capable of going doing the fucking shopping as well.

The oven is just decorative

Load of bollocks that.

A chip cooked at high temp in a deep fat frier seals, and doesn't absorb shit loads of grease.

Shake it off the outside once cooked and you're sorted.

If you're worried about calories, don't eat them at all!

Get a deep fat frier for chips. Simply then best. And use dripping.

Deep fat fryer set at 140° drop hand-cut chips in for 10 minutes. Lift basket out and raise temp to 190°. When temperature is reached put basket back down for 2.5 minutes.
perfecto
