Site Supporter FrancisFogarty Posted November 9, 2023 Site Supporter Share Posted November 9, 2023 Tommy is my mums cousin I think. His mum was my grans sister. They used to live opposite the church on George Street. The actual church, not the pub. We went to their house loads of times. Unfortunately I don't remember him from there, but he used to go in the Market St. Tavern in Stoneclough, the Bradford Arms and Social Circle cricket club on Piggott Street. He found out that we were (sort of) related and called me Charlton when I saw him. Charlton is my mums maiden name, and my grans married name. In the mid 90s I once went to an old Wanderers players house. Not on Oxford Rd but around that area. To my shame I can't remember who it was. Finished up being rescued himself.
