Sacked off the rest of the day in front on the telly with the aircon blasting, sun too brutal to consider a dip in the pool. I'd take Canada personally at least you can throw a bubble goose on and go outside. Going to watch Geth now for the Socceroos, see how long before the alcohol drags me to unconsciousness. Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Can put more layers on when it's cold. Can't take skin off when it's hot. Quote
auckland_bwfc Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Jeff Dahmer disagrees with this.... ☝️ Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 Jame Gumb too. Anyway, sadly I now think we will have to look to pizza cup type changes, after today the games are piling up. Quote

Best of luck mate. I am sure you'll agree - it's too bleeding hot! I actually know people who say they like this hot weather! No matter where you go, there are always zoons. Quote

tomski Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 No air con or pool is swinging my vote. How far away from Lassiters are you? Quote

Over 40 degrees today and I know some people reading will think 'stop moaning you lucky bastards' but it's brutal, thought I'd escaped this level of heat when I left the Pilbara. On the brightside its set to drop to less than 30 by the end of the week. Quote

Mates went watching the Scorchers in that yesterday as well, pretty much self harm! Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Just now, globaldiver said: How’s the rider? Young girl- absolutely fine. Her dad was with her as it happened. A bird had flown out from a bush and spooked it. Wasn't the biggest, but by the fuckery it was shifting. Fortunately, after my horse whispering efforts, it calmed down and I got hold of its head collar and put it into its yard. Redford got nowt on me🤣 Quote
