Groundhog Day. Again.

Looked so bright 45-65 mins when we still knocked it about but looked so much more positive when we got to the final third. So many chances missed and near misses and then they bring on a bundle of energy who might as well be on loan from the Warriors and it’s game over.

Wished they’d shown as much fight in the 90 minutes as they did in the post-match hooha.

Once they got their goal they sat off us which was surely Maghoma and Sheehan’s chance to pick a pass but they both get dragged off in favour of the legs of Thomason and Sheehan….and then we still play at walking pace instead of trying to stretch the space.

Mad that Derby seem to be doing their best to keep us in it and we still manage to fuck it up. So frustrating.

You're right, it doesn't work in the championship, but it works here so they might have a go! In fairness noone is suggesting moving to that style, but a more balanced style like Ipswich or Plymouth last season would be ideal, rather than our possession with no purpose approach
