they did

I posted the other day when Bassini was being interviewed in a park about having proof of funds, and dropping the letters all over the place whilst trying to show them to the camera

the other weird moment i recall is when he went on sky sports and told how if we was going to save us, and to prove it he brought in a bolton top with his name on the back

video here

no club should ever have to go through this

I may have dreamt this, but weren't the pages blank?

Didn't Derby also sell their ground to their owner for stupid money at one point?

Yes

But the problem was they were twi different entities

So when Mike Ashley wanted to buy the club he wasn't interested in the stadium

The current owner bought the stadium so they had a home. Then eventually bought the club

Derby fans I know reckon he doesn't have the money to fund them to progress but are grateful that he saved them

Indeed.

Although our previous owner dragged us through the mud and to the brink, it has been argued that he also saved us, as other buyers weren't queuing up when he pitched up.

Imagine the state our club must have already been in to get to a point where he who should not be named and Dean Holdsworth became the 'best' option.

Derby and Preston had that Chris Kircher trying to buy them and he's now serving twenty years in prison

Just bumped into an old neighbour. Supports Wednesday. He reckons they are properly fucked. Seems to have gone under the radar a bit - probably folk think they are too big to go

Defender, Max Lowe, handed his notice in this morning. Many of their fans expecting more to do the same. Tomorrow's friendly with Burnley called off. Administration looking increasingly likely as any potential buyers won't go near Chansiri's bloated valuation.

Who owns Hillsborough - is it separate to the club??

Chansiri does. He sold it to himself to 'do a Derby' but then got collared by the EFL anyway.  Anyone looking to buy the club, won't own the ground.

We had Jon Disley (King of Marbella) trying to buy us too. Had a pop at him on twitter about his companies house strike offs and he sent me a picture if his mate holding a shotgun saying "tell the wife and kids we said Hi" while naming them... Safe to say I apologised and got off twitter for a while 🫠

But the ground has ACV so it can't be used for anything other than being their football stadium bringing it;s value down to almost zero. What Chansiri could do is bloat the rent fee's to a new owner, but SWFC could just move to a new stadium, or groundshare with somebody and bleed Chansiri dry, as he'll have that 'asset' as a noose around his neck, strangling him.

If / When he sells the club, it'll include the stadium in the sale. There's no point him keeping hold of it, other than to just be a bitter cunt

An acv doesnt stop change of use

Thats a bwfcst myth

Aye

They are hardly worth the paper they are written on

All it means is the community have the option to put a bid together to buy it before it can be sold privately

That bid doesn't have to be accepted and Chansari could accept a bid from someone else for less if he really wanted to

Up there with IT costs 10k a year. Mad to think our board takes them on when they so clearly funnel money away from their trust

Absolute fucking grifters.

Be a nice incentive to offer some free tickets to Morcambe fans, not the nearest team to us location wise, but least offer them some free football. Sheffield fans can just nip to Sheffield United 😛

Wouldn't want any fan in that situation where their clubs folding. If a club with a 40k seater stadium can fold, hold little hope for the smaller ones.

Same.

There's a bit of "I don't like to see genuine fans of smaller clubs have it ripped away" ... but that's overshadowed by the snotty way they acted and them being yet another piece of grubby flotsam who decided we were their great rivals.

The constant whinging about us and being cry babies when we gave a bit back.

F'cem indeed.
