Ah I’ve had the best day with him today mate. Sang him his first rendition of ‘walking down the Manny road’ & he’s just been very responsive & alert with his big bright eyes.

Been really rocky of late after he was hit hard with pneumonia & sepsis. But today feels like he’s coming out the other side 🤞🤞 even if it’s still a fragile time.

The Mrs has been pumping away the golden drops every few hours, so hats off to her.

Edit: that last sentence sounds dodgy as, but as a nurse you’ll know what I mean 😄

Sounds like the little fella is making a good fist of it. Hope he keeps going to get him home.

That sounds really horrendous. Best of luck and hope his recovery continues 👍

Sounds like he is fighter mate which is good. Great to hear he is getting there.

Be worth remembering what he has put you through and definitely making him a Bolton fan to get your own back. It is the way the world works 😆🥲

Tried that with my lad the little knob head has instead developed an active disinterest in all things football.

We have become less relevant whilst in L1/2 but hopefully that will change soon and your lad will get the bug. Better being disinterested than supporting another team though.

He may not like football but my one rule of his dating life is still I don't care about the gender, race or religion of his future partners as long as they're not a united fan.

They added suspected meningitis to the list as well, but could never do the lumbar puncture to confirm it.

His brain scans will need monitoring over the next few weeks but he seems responsive & alert which is reassuring enough for me.

Thanks again for the best wishes gents. All that’s left to find out now is if the club shop does anything for preemies, so I can spruce up the incubator 🤍

Everything crossed pal.

Sounds like a proper battler. Once he’s out and sorted, we need his type in our midfield.

Hya Si, not been on here for a while so glad to see you are making a good recovery. I've been through the wars myself and also on clopidogrel amongst other drugs for the rest of my life. The cause of my downfall was ale but been off it now for nearly two years after I was diagnosed with liver disease. Must admit I've never felt better, my weight loss was alarming and was being sick all the time but have made a full recovery so it can be done. Hope our paths cross again in the near future, you never know, I might see you on the Glasgow bound

Sorry to hear about your struggles M, good to hear you're doing well though 👍

And if he's on a Glasgow bound train it's 50/50 that he's heading for London 😁
