Saw us win there with a Pedersen goal, can't for the life of me remember the year. Paddy Kenny was in goal and started dancing when we had a chant about his Mrs shagging behind his back.

Dean Kiely? Not sure Kenny played for Charlton. He may of done with 600 clubs he racked up

Doubt Kenny has played for Charlton as Colin hasn't managed there.

Crikey. Think I’ve been at least 6 times. One of the best aways going. Think the results play a big part in that.

Back in pl days it felt like when I don't go we win and when I don't we do

I’d take a draw and reckon we’ll get one. Desmond.

Annoyed I’m away at the moment as this is a good away day (and I work near London Bridge, so it’s familiar territory).

Only been once but remember getting off the train from London bridge and getting lost from my mates. Ended up walking round the ground to get to the away end. Seemed like quite a nice area to be fair. Nice ground too

Charlton memories:

Uri Geller sitting in with Bolton fans

Bolton fan in the row in front of us coming back to his seat after falling asleep in the bogs at half time and then promptly throwing up all over the poor lad in front of him.

Visiting that cracking chippy by the ground but spilling the pot of curry sauce all down the front of my kecks. Must have looked like I'd followed through so violently that it had blasted through from the back to the front!

Witnessing the horror that was the Antigallican pub.

Get something here and we should be nicely settled in the top 4 after 6 games with the next 3 at home.

Strange how that's mirroring last season when we only played 4 away games in our first 12.

I was hoping to get a more even spread of home/away games this year so that the table is a more accurate reflection and away games don't pile up, but looking at international weekends clashing with away games it will probably happen again.

You’re right.

Let’s hope our mentality improves this season for when these aways do come.
