That said, folk laughed when winger Thierry Henry was tried out as a striker. Didn’t laugh for long though.

He's at his best when he's the last line of defence and can be reactive, often using his strength and pace to get him and us out of trouble

Defensive midfielders need to anticipate the pass and be proactive because the play is happening around them

He'd be completely bypassed

And also, the further forward on the pitch, the quicker the play, and his technique isn't good enough to play the kind of quick, intricate passes he'd need to

Was there today, and everyone has their opinion of how we played a poor Cambridge side. My point is how absolutely classless Bolton fans are. The chants I heard about Evatt were frankly embarrassing....If you want him out, protest outside the Directors post match soiree. Don't disrespect our great club and it's players wearing the shirt by booing them off and cheering a player being substituted. We are better than that. Again f*ckin embarrassing.

Mostly but it can involve anything that is seen to be "bringing the game into disrepute" It's what Barton was charged with after mooning fans.

Were the chants continual from start to finish?

I'm curious as to what is considered acceptable in terms of "protest".

Waiting until after the final whistle when all the playing staff have left the pitch and the directors gone in from the cold, seems a bit anaemic. 

Overall, I think IE has had a relatively easy ride, but hasn't helped himself of late.

Nor towards the end of last season.

what do we expect though, a week ago he was telling all the players how shit they were and how all our problems were down to them.

Sharron needs to wake the fuck up and sort this out before it turns even worse. I’ve never heard or seen a last minute goal celebrated with a chorus of wanting the manager out. It beggars belief how low we’ve fallen in such a short space of time.

Her confidence statement was released on 18th December and exactly one month later, we’re even worse. It’s ok Sharron, you got it wrong now admit the mistake, sack the plum and let’s all move on together.

We are 9th, and if Mansfield get a point from their game in hand we're 10th, with virtually everyone around us having played 25.  10th is where we deserve to be currently, and our points total flatters us with those 3 games against 10 men and a couple of 95th minute winners. 

Not sure how anyone is spinning this that we just have to win a game to be on track for the play offs!
