Arrested development Posted January 31 Posted January 31 I have a feeling it's apter LWB. Be very surprised if we start 442 away from home. That would also mean Johnston at LB. Quote

Popular Post Lt. Aldo Raine Posted January 31 Popular Post Posted January 31 It looks a 4-2-3-1 with GJ at LB to me Quote

masi 51 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Thats not a bad team and next week against Barnsley SS will also have Conway, Sheehan, Rodriquez and perhaps Hardie and another to add to the squad Quote

Awful end to the season until Sheff U came chanting "win or riot" and suddenly we decided to play well !! Yes the likes of Steve Thompson, Neil Redfearn, Peter Valentine, Warren Joyce, Steve Saunders who all had good careers but were only about 18, and Tony Caldwell who was older but first season in league football. I remember the Sheff U game, we won surprisingly, they must have had more there than us, about 3k of us.  Playing on consecutive days seemed to be a thing in those days, not every season, but previous year in Div 2 it was Carlisle home 27th Dec (1-0) and Leeds away 28th (1-1). I went to both, didn't take a lot to Leeds.  Quote

noxid Posted January 31 Posted January 31 They are already targeting our right full back Osei tutu who scares me to death as a defender. Already made one error that could have been a goal Quote
