I watched a pile of shite with Drew Barrymore (not Drew Berrymore - totally different genre) and Adam Sandler before, it was basically a film about rape by deception. Creepy as 'Passengers' with Jennifer Lawrence, wherein a bloke wakes someone up from stasis on a spaceship to rape her.

I'd been on a day session in Manchester after a barney with this then missus (big) - I went to the Co-Op and got a half bottle of brandy then went to The Printworks, bought a bucket of Fanta and tipped it in then watched 'The Matrix - Revolutions'...

I was so tired and emotional and the film was so shit I fell into deep slumber within five minutes, I was rudely awakened about four hours later when I spilled some of my king-size cocktail on my crotch.

I staggered off for a piss, still clutching my drink, then returned to where I thought I'd been, and thought "this is odd" looking at the screen, but went back to sleep again.

I'd stumbled into 'Love Actually' I realised when I woke up a couple of hours later...

I don't think I've ever not took booze in when going to the pictures unless kids were present.

When I smoked I once sparked up coming down the steps of a plane, unthinking - they were filling it up and it stank of aviation fluid...
