barryk32 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Might have a look for Maniac. Anyone seen it? Â Watched 10 minutes and decided it was shit. Â Maybe I didn't give it long enough. Quote
Big City Girl Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Think I watched Insidious in the cinema when it was out. Is it the one where the baddie looks like Darth Maul? Â Started off well but got a bit silly iirc. Â Maybe a bit silly at the end, but I still really enjoyed the whole film. Quote
Smiley Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 Watched half of Lawless last night, will watch the rest later. Is it just me, or are American films getting harder to understand the dialogue? Â Must have missed half of what they spoke about in this film and can count plenty others recently. Â I imagine its local dialect and the sort. Â Which in turn must make it hard for the Yanks to understand Brookside as opposed to Eastenders, etc. Quote
Zico Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 The Campaign  weak  as for Lawless, I thought it were just Hardy, he just mumbled his way though the film Quote
tomski Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Just watched sinister. Very good, till the ending imo. Quote

bgoefc Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Watched Man on Fire starring Denzil Washington. Released in 2004. Don't know how I missed this. Enjoyed it. 8.5/10. Â I liked this line from Washington: Â Old man: "In the church, they say to forgive" Washington: "Forgiveness is between them and God. It's my job to arrange the meeting". Quote

Con Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Movie 43. Pile of shit. Unfunny, tasteless vignettes that have no tie to the piss poor plot. Â This is out July 6th(i think). First time a film released at cinema, on dvd and on tv at the same time. Â Has Julian Barrett and Reece Shearsmith in. Civil war deserters search for treasure whilst on magic mushrooms. Â Â Quote
barryk32 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Â Anything better than cam quality? Â No, I actually went to the pictures for this one. Quote
