A bloody cold night but worth it, a bit nervy but the players came through with flying colours, Saturday will be a day of celebration, I will continue it on Sunday at the Macron when Bolton get their promotion [Athywhite1958=bandwagon jumper], thank God for Bank Holidays

Never in doubt. Had a bit of grit in my eye writing the match report. Chuffed for the folks who have been there for donkey's years. You'd have got carted off to the madhouse if you'd have suggested a few years ago that Colls would be getting 100 points in the Prem and over 500 would be on.

So what division do they get promoted to? - is it a massive leap?

How long until they could reach conference level? Or is that not a realistic aim?

Four promotions for FL2. Dream yes, realistic no. Unless I win Euro Mill.

3 promotions to reach the conference.

they will need a good few quid to do so

Evostik North, step 4, level 8, call it what you will. Not a massive jump as the NWC is the hardest league to get out of, but a lot more professional looking clubs. Gumbo's lot have maybe 3 times more people involved in running the club that Colls. Realistically the best we could ever do would be a play-off finish in this league like Colne have just done and you never know. Beyond that, I reckon you need some backing.

You worry about coming "turd" in a two-horse race pal ;)  :blum:

Regardless of being a Phoenix club, can we claim Scarborough as the first club to play league fixtures against both Colls and BWFC? (Although I expect BWFC played the old Darwen in the 1880's or whatever).

Bamber Bridge, Clitheroe, Colwyn Bay, Glossop, Kendal, Mossley, Ossett x 2, Radlcliffe, Scarbough, Trafford all good piss ups.

South Shields could be fun.
