birch-chorley Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 But as it's all through agents then it matters not really. got nothing to do with his contract expiring in the summer though. His agent can legitimatly talk to european clubs now but only to domestic in the summer. Granted I doubt any fucker bothers with this. Quote
Farrelli Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Sturridge, Romeo, Mikel, Ramires, Luiz are not on 100k a week, no chance. They should get better agents then. Cahill is in the driving seat and can push his wage demands. Who could blame him, Chelsea need him at the moment a lot more than they need Romeo and Juliet! Quote
Traf Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) The other story doing the rounds is that the hold-up isn't money related. Gaz's agent has allegedly asked for assurances that his client will play regularly ie to ensure his England place. Edited January 5, 2012 by Traf Quote

This is the gamble you take going to a big club, especially a club that can easily replace you if your not as good as they thought. And only bought as a cheap stop gap. Quote

superjohnmcginlay Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 from that source of Twitter Just been to see Owen Coyle who expects Cahill to Chelsea to be done today #bwfc #cfc #chelseafc #transfers Retweeted by Oliver Kay Quote
tylswhite Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Lets hope weve got some new signings lined up. Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Lets hope weve got some new signings lined up. i do too, just hope that cahill going is the catalyst for the new signings coming, everything should be in place, shouldnt it? Quote
tylswhite Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 i do too, just hope that cahill going is the catalyst for the new signings coming, everything should be in place, shouldnt it? They should be but as we know with BWFC it doesnt mean that they are! Weve known for long enough now so if theres no contingency plan then we deserve to get relegated. Quote
Casino Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 and if the contingency plan was sunk by somebody else being able to move on their deal yesterday - eg neddy from city i know what you mean but the football world doesn't stand still waiting for bwfc to be ready to move Quote
tarian1979 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Sturridge, Romeo, Mikel, Ramires, Luiz are not on 100k a week, no chance. at least 2 of that five are absolute shite though Quote
HomerJay Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 can we have some of that "shite" in our team please. Quote
Casino Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 exactly i've read some bollocks but i think that tops the lot Quote
Didledee Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 CB pairing. Ricketts and Wheater .. Wheater and Knight .. Knight and Ricketts errrm Ricketts as done well on return at LB, maybe wait till Alonso is back, with Cahill leaving, I really hope we get someone else in, having Knight as a guaranteed CB is worrying. Yeah Ricketts and Knight did quite well when Cahill had a blood clot, but I have 0 confidence in Knight and Wheater and Ricketts ain't anything special in the position. Problem is, would any quality (good enough) want to come and join a team figgting for relegation, with little money and prospects? Quote
tarian1979 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Shite by top 3/4 standard not by our standard. Mikel shouldnt be playing at a champions league club so shouldnt be on 100k Quote

Surely the club wouldnt be stupid enough to think we can replace A with B guaranteed and thats that. Quote
tarian1979 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Onouha Ream I would hope we could get one of those two in * * will shake head if we raid Crawley Town Quote
tylswhite Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) Sturridge, Romeo, Mikel, Ramires, Luiz are not on 100k a week, no chance. at least 2 of that five are absolute shite though Mikel, Ramires & Luiz will all be on 100k a week and the other two wont purely due to them being signed at a young age. Sturridge wont be far off 100k a week when he gets his next contract imo. That Romeo is playing more and more and he will possibly get a big contract in a few years time if carries on. Chelsea paid Mikel a bomb to get him to sign for them over Munich. Edited January 6, 2012 by tylswhite Quote
Casino Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 romeo won't be on great money but he's off back to barca i'm assuming somebody reckons david luiz is shite fook me Quote
Sweep Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Chelsea paid Mikel a bomb to get him to sign for them over Munich. I remember that debacle, didn't United sign him from Brann (or somebody similar) for about ?5M - at the same time Chelsea also believed they had signed him. In the end Chelsea had to stump up about ?15M to United in order to get the player. United did very well out of it, in effect making about ?10M on a player they never really owned Either way, for a player that cost Chelsea well over ?10M, I would expect him to be nudginh around ?100K per week or something like that...... Ant CB pairing (like CF position) takes a few games for players to adjust to each other. Ricketts and Knight were awesome last season when Cahill was out. Whichever he starts with he MUST stick with for at least three games to see them "settle in". Wouldn't be suprised if the two that start tomorrow are the new first choice (unless we sign neddy manure or Bob Reamer of the US of A) Quote
Gaz Nt Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 (edited) We won't be buying Onuoha as we can't afford his wage demands and The Ream deal is close to completion. Just waiting on the Cahill deal to go through for the funds. Edited January 6, 2012 by Gaz Nt Quote
