HomerJay Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 What impresses me most is that he spills nothing, ever! Quote

Ben Der Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 I agree. He is just so solid. as i said on another thread, if he can get develop better distribution similar to reina's he will be a top class keeper. i think with more 1st team football and a back 4 he trusts more he will develop in to one of the best keepers in the league. Hope he continues in the same vain and is at wanderers for a long time to come Quote
Big E Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 He should have been out meeting the ball for their goal Quote
Traf Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 He should have been out meeting the ball for their goal He should, but otherwise he was excellent. Quote
Big E Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 He was traf i agree but i think it needs addressing. Especially as he is ginger Quote
worthy10 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 He comes to catch and punches crosses. Unlike jussi Quote
Mona Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 And he doesn't kick the ball out on the half way line Beginning to like the lad, even tho he looks 10 years old ! Quote
droywhite Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Dont agree with all this catching the ball from corners and punching the ball he should stay on his line and go down onto his knees a bit more Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Early days ,but looking good, could become a top keeper. Quote
fruitbat69 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Thought he was outstanding yesterday. Commanded his area well, quick distribution and great handling. Can't see Jussi getting back his shirt.Hope he gets a run of games and OC doesn't drop him when Jussi gets fit. Defo could be our future gk for years. Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 He'll do for me. Is he taller than Jussi? Or is it just that he's not on his knees? Quote
chief wiggum Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Getting better with every game, good work son Quote
Guest Blixa Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Getting better with every game, good work son That's no surprise - what Bogdan lacks is experience, which you don't get in the reserves, in training or sitting on a bench. Playing the likes of Everton, United (at Old Trafford) and now Liverpool can only give him experience and confidence. Which should iron out the odd mistake that's still there. Jussi arguing over his contract, if I was him, I'd be getting more worried by the week. Quote
Snow_white Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I hope Jussi won't get back into the team. I thought Bogdan was outstanding yesterday. You could gurantee Jussi would have spilt one of those shots yesterday and the way he came for those corners must give his defence confidence again unlike Jaaskalainen. However its a big decision, the last time a guy came in for Jussi and did well we let him go and i think we now regret that. Hogwarts No1, Hogwarts, hogwarts No1!!! Quote
Eddie Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Jussi would have been out to the ball for Liverpools goal quicker and would have stopped it. It's not a criticism of Bogdan, I thought he was very good yesterday apart from that and didn't put another foot wrong and of course he's still going to have some mistakes in him because he is young and fairly inexperienced. I'm not too bothered who's in goal next match, Bogdan has done himself no harm, but then I thought Jussi was just getting back to top form before his injury. Suppose it's not a bad problem to have. In the one sentence you say Bogdan was outstanding and the next we regret losing Al Habsi. I'm confused by this. Quote
1969 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Bogdan should start next game as they say You don't change a winning side Quote
The True Marple White Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 And people thought I was taking the piss when I said he played well at Everton!!! He looks confident, calm on the ball and goes back to traditional goalkeeping by holding the ball instead of punching when it's not needed. Quote
indra Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 He commands his area thats the major difference for me Quote
