This Weather.....

Yesterday was ace. Today I've got trench foot.

This is it. This is it forever. 12 months of wet and windy weather the odd smattering of clear days.

2 weeks of frost max per year.

2 weeks of sunshine and no wind max per year.

The thought of you on a kayak is amusing me greatly!

You and Ross could have a race 😁

Kayak on Make a GIF

There's fuck all else to do round here but head out into the briney depths - just ask those tourists from Calais.

Good planning. Can use it to commute along the flooded roads.

Not sure about flooding but in East Kent it sure seems like the local business plan for employment is digging holes in roads - they love closing a new road each day it appears.

I once did a Kayak thing with work - one of those adventure weekend things for charity - up at dawn Kayak the length of Ullswater and back and then walk up Helvellyn in a day sort of thing. The Kayaking was much worse than the hike. Back was in agony afterwards.

Had a couple of rumbles of thunder during that half of football. Had a look on lightning maps, and what a storm there is currently in western Europe.

From mid France through Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany.

There was loads over here before. No lightening though. Or none which I saw.

Poor dog is still frightened to death :(

Aye, still rumbling.

I'm guessing that the website can only triangulate ground strikes. Stuff that stays in the clouds seems to go unregistered.

It’s been going on for hours. Had a look early afternoon when I saw a weather warning for Manc. Absolute non-stop over that part of Europe

Tother half went out with her mate dog walking about a minute before the thunder followed by big summer rain.

Me and lad stood by the patio door watching the stair rods, laughing at her plight.

Well it looks like we are in for 40 days of rain....

They'd kill for that here. Dry as a budgies chuff and too fucking hot. Back in the cold soon.

Southgate summer this.

Watching it pass us by without mustering anything positive.

Nah, Megson weather for sure.

At least we did get to a final, but our dullard alienated the fans, played tedious football and achieved nowt.

Totally grey weather for totally grey man.

Can't even muster a bastard thunderstorm here to add a bit of excitement.

For the first time ever last week, I experienced a touch of the 'Septembers" in bastard July. That's grim.

Well, all change today.

Warm, albeit humid. Better than dull, wet and a bit too cool for shorts.

Cracking the flags in the shires, first time I've been able to sit out in the garden for weeks. Had to come in half an hour ago, as it's so warm

Went fishing a couple of Fridays ago- a surprisingly warm, sunny morning, with later cloud- ended up with burned arms!

That’s because you are a massive fanny though and not the weather

Moisturise like a modern man! 😄

Even though I always wear a hat in spring and summer, my scalp cops for it.

Bastard humid too this morning- reckon I need to sharpen my mower blade to make life easier.

I'd you saw my complexion you'd realise I'm way past moisturiser my old chum :D

Skin like a stegosaurus.

Came out of nowhere too. Proper weather shift. Wasn't predicted at all this today. Great stuff. My face looks like crumpled up onion skin.

So does my winkie
