Guest Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 poss bronze seems a low level competition, this? Quote
MalcolmW Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Grabarse has bronze for a triple tie in third. Note that the Russian, previously drunk in competition, mislaid his vest after 2.29 and was allowed to jump 2.33 in a tee shirt. Then he found the vest for 2.36. . Quote

MalcolmW Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Anyone know why there's a remote control car on the grass? To bring the discoi back to the circle area. Quote
MalcolmW Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Haha, that Italian doing high-jump in his tee shirt. Quality. No Italian - that was the Russian winner. He lost his vest, tipped his bag out twice, looked under the seats, then an official told him to put his spare number on his tee shirt. He cleared 2.33 in that, then found his vest again. Classic quality British judging - the competition is for the competitors first and foremost. Treated less sympathetically it could have driven the jumper to drink (see youtube from 2008?). Quote
