Rembrandt Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 No stadium parking (permits only). However, I think the Brooklands pub allows car parking on a basis not disimilar to the Beehive where you get your parking back on a pint/food. Also, the Charles Darwin - a similar walk but right out of the stadium, not left - wouldn't be exactly rammed for a friendly and they've a decent car park. I am willing to throw out my permit to the highest bidder mind (about 50 yards tops from players entrance) Thanks, Salop. I don't mind a little walk. My brother ought to know all this stuff - he only lives 15 miles away.. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Shrewsbury's good for me - nearest one to Gloucester. Hi Gloucester We have another Gloucestershire white in Stroud and I am near Worcester Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 i doubt betis can play 2 games in one day... theyre playing at wolves on the saturday That's most likely because Wolves paying them more money, as usual BWFC are clueless when marketing the club the match on Friday will have a sub 5000 crowd if it was on a Saturday after the family day with free entry for kids under 16 we would have a much bigger attendance and a feel good factor setting us up nicely for the season a trip on a Friday then going back on Saturday to watch the match is nonsensical. SalfordOriginal Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 And not to mention hopefully give a few kids "the whites bug", meaning they drag their dads along to a few proper matches next season also Quote
frank_spencer Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 The beehive roundabout is being resurfaced over the summer, should be clear for the match but just an advanced warning. Quote

Frank, I live in a little road, it's a no through and gets very little traffic. The cobbles were covered a few years back with Tarmac, fuck knows why, the neighbours didn't want it. but now there's enormous potholes. I can't see it being a priority but it looks ugly and I'm sure shoving bits of Tarmac down will look just as shit. Could they not just dig up the shitty remaining Tarmac?
