Pie Eater Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 It's disgusting how badly the stalls are run. Simple organisation of staff would see profits double. God it makes my blood boil, seeing people queuing 20 minutes at half time for a brew in winter. I bet as many give up or don't bother so that's 50% of your sales lost. I'd be out of business within a year with the mentality they seem to have. Great point. I never bother with a pint at half time as the second half will have kicked off by the time I managed to get served and so I'd have to either sink it or miss the first 10-15 minutes. When I'm paying the best part of £4 for a pint I'm not gulping it down so I don't bother. Quote
stevieb Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 We could always get on the priority season ticket list for united! Must be bad as my facebook has 3 different flat dicks who have not been to OT for years attending today. Im getting the words "comp tickets" Quote

Wasn't drinking yesterday but on Tuesday I fully expect to go down at the half time whistle and be supped up by the start of the second half. Quote
no balls Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I'm not supping Tuesday so they'd better have stocked up on beef tea by then Gartside out! Quote
Wullie Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Didn't enter my mind not to get one....I've seen us play worse, with a worse team and worse managers in a far worse division Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Crowds dwindle, makes no difference. Prices up this year, service is still shit. I go to City now and again with my step-daughter, 48.000 on every game and quality and service are from another planet to that we get. I've heard this from another Bolton fan who's started going to City, the club have to provide service and quality as punters these days more likely to up and take there business elsewhere these days, wake up and smell the coffee BWFC before it's to late. Are you trying to say people will stop supporting Bolton because the pies are shit? Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Are you trying to say people will stop supporting Bolton because the pies are shit? If your a floating fan and the product for want of a better word is better nearby, as a floating fan where would you spend your money? I know 1 long time ex season ticket holder who's going to city and no doubt there more than one. Quote
Gonk Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I'm not supping Tuesday so they'd better have stocked up on beef tea by then Gartside out! Take a couple of cubes with you - they'll still have hot water Quote

When its 1pm and your deciding wether to go or not its the whole package that comes into play in these dire times. The entertainment is shit. The beer is shit and too dear. They run out of bovril at 3:01pm. The coffee is £1.80 and comes with no sugar or stirrers. And it's £28. Like MK says, not in question for proper fans, but if you're thinking of taking your lad out for the afternoon to a game, the reebok is the last place you're going. Quote

oggybwfc Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 The thread is about season tickets, so that says too me Bolton supporters and as such it's the team you are following, not what's happening behind the bar. Quote

Same for me they could serve dog shit on a barm and I'd still go, however there's a whole world of floating fans out there who would go where the product is best. Quote
Casino Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) bolton fans don't go watching city they either don't watch owt or they watch bolton Edited February 9, 2014 by Casino Quote
Pie Eater Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 bolton fans don't go watching city they either don't watch owt or they watch bolton Aye, but if only the diehards turn up then we end up with gates like yesterday. Some people, although not 'fans' as we understand it, go to the footy occasionally as a day out or just on a whim if they're bored on a Saturday. If we charge high prices yet provide shit service and a crap product then they won't bother and will take their money elsewhere Quote
no balls Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) Have you seen the prices at City or United? I've better ways of spending money like that on a 'day out'. Edited February 9, 2014 by no balls Quote
Garrp Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I'm sure its nothing to do with them being the best team in the country Fuck them Quote
Traf Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Same for me they could serve dog shit on a barm and I'd still go. Thinly veiled I've had a Reebok burger post. Quote
