mickbrown Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 This 'deadwood' bollox is exactly that. Bollox. It's an excuse to hide behind. We need to face facts boys and girls, the manager is just not very good at man management. He can't manage Coyle's 'deadwood', he can't manage his own signings and he can't manage the kids. Quote
Zico Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Mears, Sordell, Pratley, Andrews, Eagles, Ream, Knight, Moritz (if Mavies stays ).Chungy will probably go if we're offered the reported £3m. Mills has earned a reprieve if he's on sensible wages. is ream deadwood though? granted he's on high wages, but him and mills (who can stay) did well at CB, in fact, when them two played together there we probably had our best results (not checked that, might not be right, though difficult to point to a spell where we were good) he's not as good at LB and our performances aren't as good, but that's because DF won't play Whyte (because he might get ruined) and instead plays Knight (who is on many deadwood's list) Mortiz was DFs gift there's so many holes in the deadwood debate that it's becoming apparent that it's an excuse for piss poor management Quote
DazBob Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Anyone here know what the financial implications of relegation, even for just one season, would be? Quote
geoffwilcox Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 What about a statement from Gartside,he is keeping his head below the parapet. Quote

oggybwfc Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Well if the board fail to act then. The fans need to stay away in disgust so that the wankers get the message. Once and for all Not for me, Bolton are my team and even though they are shit at the moment I will not stay away.I am not a liar and when I have sung" Bolton till i die" or" we'll support you ever more" I Meant it. The thought of just following us when we are good would make me feel as dirty as the cunts up the road. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 A lot of extra cost going to new grounds and grounds we haven't been to for years Quote
Casino Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 What about a statement from Gartside,he is keeping his head below the parapet. you got one about three weeks ago since then we've lost to 3 teams in the top six and chucked away a two goal lead Quote
Carlos Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Eddie Davis is keeping his head below the parapet too. Quote

DazBob Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Less games on Sky, less crowds? Aye, obvs. I was just wondering in terms of £. I'm just curious as to how much more/less would it be than the cost of removing the current managerial team. Quote

I'm here to stay good, bad or even as now terrible, can't see what's to be gained by spitting dummy out and not going ( i prefer to spit dummy out and continue to attend don't cut nose off to spite your face. If we did get relegated and started to play well we might be on more often, we've still got 8 million from premier money next season and you never know crowds might increase if we're winning. However we really do need to stay up. Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 It's not the Cassie's & MK's of the support that the club need to worry about losing though is it? It's also not the 'fans' in the stadium either. We lost a generation in the 80's, the upstarts down the road should be concentrating on egg chasing too. Then there's the usual suspects. We can ride a blip but not a sustained fall. It doesn't bare thinking about. Quote
Casino Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 i know where you're coming from daughter opted out on tuesday but she's in liverpool and i don't think id have bothered coming from there either lad decided at 10 to 7 to make the effort then booed them off he's 14 Quote
oggybwfc Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I blame the parents. I have posted elsewhere about my lad fucking me off to go with his mates. they started out with 4 now it's up to a dozen. The future's bright The future's White. Quote
jules_darby Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 you got one about three weeks ago since then we've lost to 3 teams in the top six and chucked away a two goal lead So lost alot then?? Under OC you'd be seething irrespective of the opposition in this league Absolutely bonkers Quote
Casino Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 i would if we were 20 places lower than when freedman arrived, i'd be seething now but, we're not and i'm happy that all in the garden is rosy coyle got less ppg than megson, so how shit must he have been Quote
Guest Blixa Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 What about a statement from Gartside,he is keeping his head below the parapet. Who is he? The Dalai Lama? I don't get why he needs to make constant proclaimations. He's a bloody administrator and as such, should be spending his time trying to sort out the mess we have and doing what the fuck he is told by Eddie Davies. The last thing a manager probably wants or needs is an executive bleating to the fans and/or media. I can't see what we, the fans, would get out of it either. Freedman is still in a job, tells you everything you need to know about what Eddie Davies and Gartside are thinking. Quote

Keep coming with the excuses for backing him without logic and only because he ain't OC and you stuck your neck out.... And no matter how far we fall, it won't make your second love Megson a decent Manager The employment market agrees with that too Quote
tomski Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Honestly thinks that's half the problem mate. Not the same getting bollocked and shouted at by a 39 year old bloke that's still wet behind the ears. He's telling players off that have played at a higher level than he ever did and probably think they know more about the game than him. It would be ok If he was a tactical genius. But he's not. That's my thoughts. Reading between the lines of them tweets and what I see on the pitch is that they don't like him. But more importantly don't respect him and regardless of who I believe is right or wrong, these situations rarely get mended through seeing it out. Oh I am sorry Bolty ha ha. I see your point but I think the days of taking no crap are long gone and there needs to be a balance of man management due to higher status and wages of players. As for fucking the baddun's off. I am sure Dougie has tried his best but these lads aren't going anywhere till contract expiry. Quote

As it stands 16k turned up against burnley so the board think all is well with attendances like that Quote
