Carlos Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 I saw that god bothering long jumper that commentates yesterday. True story. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 He ain't God Squad anymore, apparently he'd never questioned his faith before as he was too busy training... When he retired he (had time) and had a bit of a think about it for once, and decided it was probably all a load of old bollocks. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2570747/Ive-lost-faith-Im-happy-Jonathan-Edwards-reveals-no-longer-believes-God.html Quote
birch-chorley Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 My mrs and her lot doing it too Be warned it was heaving last time and we struggled to squeeze on to the train on the way there (nearly missed the race) Hopefully not be much hotter, running in heat is tough Quote

Carlos Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 He had very nice grey hair, was my immediate thought. You'd be all over him like a cheap track suit. Quote

bgoefc Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Managed 58:26. Piss poor really and to make it worse maude beat me by nearly five minutes and young un by 30 secs, so I've lost the family title i won at the Great North Run. Did it in 56:56 last year and did a sub 53 in March. Could have blamed the 23C heat but simply felt unfit. Doing the Keswick 11K trail run in two weeks. Quote
seany79 Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 First one I have done, 49:03 and was certainly ready for a beer after Quote
