gonzo Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 If and when he does go,can we please not have the usual 'I told you so' cock waving exercise. Non of us wanted it to end this way,non of us wanted this decline. Some folk could just see it working more than others. We are all in it together at the end of the day,we all want success for our football club and right now I think it needs all together more than ever. Quote

I'm going to declare straight away that the new guy won't succeed. The odds will be more in my favour and I'll be able to say told you so every time we lose a game Quote

Casino Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Succeeding would be keeping us up, no more than that in my opinion aye whoever comes in gets the first season for me with no expectations beyond staying up 4th bottom will do but 'with these players we should piss it' Quote
gonzo Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Will they have to clear the deadwood in the summer or in jan? Quote
Casino Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 there isnt any deadwoood the players arent trying or else thats what you get for 5k a week Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Will they have to clear the deadwood in the summer or in jan? ONLY, if Gartside, his buddy agent/s & Brown envelopes pick the next disaster/manager. Well paid Eddie. Quote
bolty58 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I just hope we can get a motivator. McCarthy missed, Pulis no chance. We need someone of that ilk. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I'd settle for Neil Baldwin right now Quote
Ratwhite Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I reckon the next three games may be very defining in DF's managerial career. Derby H Fulham A Bournemouth H If and when he does go,can we please not have the usual 'I told you so' cock waving exercise. Non of us wanted it to end this way,non of us wanted this decline. Some folk could just see it working more than others. Horwich Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 4th bottom will do but 'with these players we should piss it' I think thats half the problem. Fans think we have a better side than we have. We are struggling because we are a very bad team. Zero shots on target is not gonna win you many games. Keep an eye on how many we have on saturday. This team cannot score goals Quote
gonzo Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 there isnt any deadwoood the players arent trying or else thats what you get for 5k a week Bogdan Spearing Mills Wheater Beckford Chungy Mark Davies Tierny Will all be on considerably more than 5k per week. Quote
cbwfcd Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I'm hoping that the reason we haven't heard from Gartside is the fact that Freedman had x amount of games to turn it around. 10 games would be about right. Time to go. This can't go on any longer. If we can not afford a new manager then Gartside could just come on here and we could help pick the team. Let the first team train with the youth. It can't be any worse. Quote
gonzo Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 They players look dejected to me. I wrote at the time but when they came over at wolves you could see it there faces, they were even apologising to the fans. That says to me they've had enough. This manager zaps players confidence. One example Jo mason. He scores hatrick after finally being played with a link up man in Craig Davies. Next game he's played up top alone and taken off after 60 mins. The week after he's played up top alone and then the week after that he's dropped. What is that going to do to his attitude and confidence?? Same with Beckford earlier in the season. Scores in the league cup, then sent on with 30 seconds to go the following game. Craig Davies man of the match v Rotherham....dropped for the next two games. Danns, most legs and comitment in the team..frozen out for 2-3 games at a time without reason. Then we have Ream...left back, right back, centre back, centre midfield all in the space of 5 games. Not one person accosiated with BWFC would have picked that team last night. Same last week, same the week before. Same throughout last season. The players don't want to play for him because the only reward they get is a nice warm place on the bench the week after. Quote

We're limited to what we have but you've got to play to your strengths. How can Lee, Mark Davies and Mason be left on the bench last night it a game we had to get something out of, how did he expect us to score let alone win the game Quote
roybarker Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Gonzo is spot on as is tyldesley white, freedman has had long enough He has lost the players and the fans Quote
jules_darby Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 All the folk saying "I wanted him to do well".... Who exactly do they think didn't want him to do well? The lot that called him out for being a bad Manager are right; that doesn't mean they the vast and sane majority of them actually wanted him to fail And as such, not all of those that called Freedman out for being a bad Manager a while ago have that as a default position It was just the right call on this occasion Let's forget all of this righteousness and move on Quote
mannyroad vet Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Has he gone yet???? Probably won't till after Saturday. ..then they've got the international break to find someone Quote

Biggish Dave Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Don't think we can wait until after Saturday - the atmosphere will stink from the off if DF is in charge Quote
