I'd 100% go the opposite of today and play Mason and Clayton in a 2 up top. Blast them with youth, can't hurt to try.

Lennon said there too similar to play together. Very happy with that performance sounded a strong performance, got to iron out conceding goals and we will soon shoot up this league.

thats almost as difficult as scoring them

we've been conceding daft goals all season, all the way back to watford

in fact, tonight sounded a lot like leeds, yet we didn't actually seem to miss so many tonight

it sounded more like panic sets in when we need the pass to create the chance

charlton are probably much better than leeds, so like i say, its a bright beginning

also like the fact we saw they had fight at 2-0 down

I remember Lennon saying in an interview we are a bit desperate/panicked when we get in the final third so hopefully in time he can sort that out.

After being dominated virtually every game this season we have to take the positives from that and just move on.

Same shit, new box.

We knocked it around nicely without creating any chances - didn't look like scoring, and it took a fluke from the edge of the box to get us on the scoresheet. Defence was dreadful.

I seem to remember we used to have a manager who talked about controlling the game without possession - Charlron did that brilliantly tonight . Could have played until next week and not scored.

I think people put far too much faith in the. "Cult of the manager". Simply changing that makes no difference.

Hmm strange post I didn't go but it sounded a completely different performance than those under DF not least that we fought back after going 2 down and we've never looked like fighting back under DF.

How do you work that out?

Under Freedman we would have had less shots and possession than Charlton tonight. At least we showed some fight and tried to pass it about tonight.
