He will go for 100m easy this summer. Hes fucking brilliant.

As is Labokta.

What the fuck are AC doing btw??

100 at least, the guy is on another level so is the Georgian fellow. So good to watch, I hope they do it this time.

AC feel a bit stagnant to me, a couple of the top sides do, Juve shagged out as well.

Euro football haters must love this thread at weekends, it's like my twitter feed getting stuffed with NFL shite every Sunday night 🤣

Is FPP still a thing? Maybe it never existed in the first place

Was reading about this

Chelsea have been buying players and putting them on long contracts as the amount they pay in FFP terms is spread over the length of the contract.

So that bloke they bought from Shaktar Donestk and paid £80m for is on an 8 year contract, so it works out at £10m spend for each year

However, when you sell a player, the total fee is accounted for in the single year that they were sold

So say they sell a player for £30m, they would be £20m in credit after signing the other player, when in reality they are not

FIFA/UEFA looking at cracking down on how long the fee can be calculated over

was also reading longer contracts means they get away with paying lower wages, which means they are easier to shift if they decide to to sell after 2 or 3 seasons

Not sure why they should crack down really. It’s just a different way to what everybody else is used to doing. Nothing to stop others doing the same.

No rules are being broken at all.

Also if the player turns out to be shite, the club are still committed to paying them for a longer period of time, so that’s the club’s loss.

Works both ways for players and clubs.

Late to the party regarding the Italian chat, but I was in Georgia in September, and the lads there are beside themselves with Kvaratshkelia. Bars absolutely heaving when Napoli played; they buzz off him. Looks like an absolute treasure to be fair, he's taking the piss in Serie A.

Also. A long, exhausting, injury-ridden draw for Derby with West Ham tonight, please.
