Couldn't give a shit about Wigan.

Wouldn't bother me if they beat arsenal in the slightest.

Good for the game

A quick geography lesson: How do you feel about the possibilty of Blackpool going down? ;)

4th time maybe 5 I think

Oh forgot about the semi also from last season, shouldn't beat Arsenal, but loads said they wouldn't beat City and they have, twice.

They looked fairly comfortable as well. As much as I dislike Wigan its the beauty of the cup and all that.

Wonderfully aroused.

What's your point? Haha

7th in the PL won't get a European place now will it?

If Arsenal win the FA Cup and fail to secure a Champions' League place but finish fifth or sixth in the league then seventh will qualify for the Europa.

What about a final with 2 of Whelan's managers?

Any history of father and son having managed in a cup final?

If Wigan make the play-offs, after a cup run and the Europa League then anyone ever complaining about players being tired can just fuck off.

Agree with this. They look like a very strong and talented team who will no doubt reach the play offs and on this form blow away the likes of Derby and QPR. Hats off, they have been well run and managed ( Coyle withstanding) for a a long number of years.

It would be interesting to compare their transfer fees ( and wages) in and out over the last 7 years with ours.

I don't think so.

But 2 of Sheffield United's winning team in 1925 were sons of members of the same club's winning team in 1902.

See also Burnley who play more or less the same 11 week in week out. Doesn't seem to be doing them any harm.

Exactly, winning breeds confidence in my opinion, the players will be raring to go and be on the team sheet atm.

Have heard players say they like midweek games as its less training.

It was their only hope of a cup when they played Birmingham in the League Cup final...

I think the camera has swapped sides, I remember there being that big gap in the centre of the away stand from last season when Oldham smashed the gate down in front of it and tried to attack Chesterfields fans as they celebrated getting to Wembley!

I was an eye-witness, Oldham spent all game singing stuff like "your firm is fucking shit", "youre going to get your fucking heads kicked in" and "we're Oldham Athletic, we'll see you outside", whilst holding up a big Fine Young Casuals flag, then threw fireworks at the away fans on the car park as they were leaving. You don't see all that every day!

Tuesday nights watching JPT Area Finals, clearly had very little else to do with my time!

Just realised it was actually the season before last as well, that has gone quick.

So League 1 strugglers Sheff Utd could be in Europe next season?

Keep up,something like 8 wins in a row and eyeing the play offs the way they're going
