Belting result, really enjoyed the game too - could easily have been a few more goals in the game. Pratley was superb, and also liked the look of Heskey, he will get better with more games. Vela looked the part again but he did play them onside for the goal.

Slight off days for Lonergan, we were screaming for him to come & hold the ball when we were right under pressure, & Dervite who looked a bit unsure of himself today, but Mills held the defence together. Vela had another good game, but m-o-m between Chungy for another classy performance & Danns who battled for every ball for 90+ minutes. Excellent.

 

On a separate note, i was amazed at the number of people leaving from 80 mins onwards. I know it's a free country & all that, but to leave such an exciting game when it's still finely balanced seems a very odd thing to do.

Danns was Jekyll and Hyde for me; dos a lot of hard work but fucked about on it way too much costing us opportunities and giving them quite a few breaks
