There's a culture of blame...blame the cuts, blame the immigrants, blame the unemployed, blame the banks...like it's desperately shit here, when it f*cking isn't.

Entertaining and true

Assuming SNP's dominance of Scotland continuing is a mistake.

Next time out the Scots will realise the only way to get the Tories out is to vote Labour. That message didn't get across this time in the aftermath of the independence referendum.

Add 30 Jock seats on to Labour total with the Lib Dems taking back some Tory gains then it's all up for grabs.

As it stands now the Tories have a wager thin majority, it wasn't a New Labour style landslide!

Maybe. My gut feeling is that the Lib Dems are a write off for the foreseeable, and that SNP support is calcified after the referendum. Many of their supporters will settle for nothing less than independence. Simply kicking the Tories out won't be good enough any more.

Point taken that the Tories have only a wafer thin majority though, even after a result they could only dream of.

Farage has a massive decision to make, Celebrity Big Brother or I Am a Celebrity.

Farage can still tell them like it is in Brussels.

His replacement may give the lie to the idea that UKIP is a one man band. Or not.

The LibDems have withered at grassroots level with many vacancies at council level and have very limited talent available now.

They have lost a lot of those with ministerial experience, and their rebirth will depend on a major split in one or other of the major parties.

Under proportional representation.

Tories 240

Labour 198

Ukip. 83

Lib Dems 51

SNP. 31

Green 25

Others 6

DUP. 4

Sinn Fein. 4

Plaid Cymru 4

UUP. 3

SDLP. 2

Alliance. 1

Read into it what you will, but it you associated Ukip with racism, the nation's got a big problem, or time to rethink the association.

By that thinking I'm going to call the SNP racists then.

Thats a decent chunk of leaving the EU votes, if we are to assume all Ukip voters vote to leave ....  :db:

I see the Horwich Nimby Party got a couple of councillors in.

What's their long term plan?

Casinos the whole length of the Horwich Waterfront, silly

Have you not been paying attention?

What's their long term plan?

Independence from Bolton initially, and then setting up their own sovereign state

Ah I see.

But don't touch the paving as that was gifted to the people of horridge by lord smedlington in 1887 and they've got the paperwork to prove it.
