darrener Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Spoke to a Blackburn fan yesterday he said baptiste has been brilliant for them this season but doesn't think they can afford him. Wasn't over convinced about spearing though. Can't see us shifting him on anytime soon. Quote
Ratwhite Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Could see (and would be happy) with Baptiste and Dervite / Wheater at CB next year. Think Bogdan will go and could see Amos coming in. Think NL will already have been in his ear over that. Quote
white noise Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Kuipers deal already done, could be one of the 'rabbits out of the hat' ready made Mills replacement? Quote
kent_white Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 This Nick Kuipers looks a unit. His neck is thicker than his head. Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 6ft 3. That's more like it. Danny Shittu is 6ft 3 Zat Knight is 6ft 6 JSL Quote

famouswanderer Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Bogdan fucking loves us. he aint going nowhere Quote
mannyroad58 Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Bolton have offered him 18 grand a week to stay.............i hope warbies know about this Saw Jussi in Nando's yesterday but he was just waiting for his takeaway and NL was nowhere to be seen Quote
Guest Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Bolton have offered him 18 grand a week to stay.............i hope warbies know about this Why? That seems like a huge chunk of budget to spend on a keeper. Ok, Bogdan is good. But how many more points would Bogdan win us, over say Lonergan? A decent amount probably, but enough to justify that salary? And then the real question is whether Lonergan plus a decent outfield player funded by the wages shortfall would leave us better or worse off......potentially better I'd say. Which makes sinking all that into Bogdan, questionable. Quote

mannyroad58 Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I don't know why as i'm not privy to that kind of information like every fucker else on here No wind up Quote
Bigtoe Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Kuipers deal already done, could be one of the 'rabbits out of the hat' ready made Mills replacement? I believe he got a bit giddy when he signed. Quote

Maybe? Edited May 5, 2015 by SalfordOriginal Quote

mannyroad58 Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Lonergan will not be here next season.......fact Quote

Maybe? I suspect that is very true. But nobody will buy Bolton because we have a decent goalkeeper. The most important thing is to demonstrate we aren't far from the premiership gold mine. And IMO the best way to sell the club is to look like we are close to that. Quote
