stevieb Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 In Bristol? What was the weekend like- races and Bristol? Yeah Bristol. Races was rammed. Missed the first race got off before the last as no one wanted to be stuck on the car park for ages. Can remember getting back to the room in the hotel after the races to get changed before going out and then a complete black out until the morning. Good times! If you are going to do Cheltenham pay for the best enclosure you can. Quote

On the last occasion I went to the festival watched the first 2 races in the pub and the last 2 given all the hassle and crowds think I'd just go to Cheltenham for the atmosphere and stay in the pub. Biggish Dave Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Just booked my rattler for Middlesbrough - not many cheaper priced tickets left for the direct trains and not sure what the prices will go to either. They had better not move it to a Friday night, I don't fancy an afternoon in that dump without a match Quote
