worthy10 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Ther are long standing rumours tha pg is not gravely ill at all, but is hiding his head in the sand due to his embarrassment and guilt over his chairmanship of the club. In any event could a representative speak on his behalf to explain or justify our demise? It is the total lack of communication from the top that infuriates me. I apologise if my comment caused offence, but this is genuinely what I was alluding to. Quote

Fucking hell, how low have you stooped to not only think this but to then share it with the world. Edited February 6, 2016 by Carlos Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I believe PG is gravely ill; the club is in a bad financial state but people should have dignity and respect. Quote
HomerJay Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I can't believe such a thought even enters people heads. In fact yes I can. As some people are bigger cunts than pg could ever be. Quote

Cheese Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) Never liked the man but as a human being i wish him well in his battle Doubt you disliked him when we were playing Bayern Munich. Indifferent maybe? Edited February 6, 2016 by Cheese Quote
plodwhite Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 No met him long before that at a function didnt take to him, and if i had known as we were playing Bayern how much it would be costing us now i would gladly wipe it from the hostory books, yes i enjoyed the good times but me like many others were told a pack of lies regarding how we payed for those good times, "our beloved owner is footing the bill nothing to worry about" Quote

Who do YOU think footed the bill? Also, I'm pretty sure "if we had known at the time..." applies to all of us. But as you say, we all enjoyed it. Edited February 6, 2016 by Cheese Quote
snowball Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Doubt you disliked him when we were playing Bayern Munich. Indifferent maybe? Disliked him always so you can say what you want. Fucked our club up big style for a few foreign trips and then the club decided when we had a UEFA Cup quarter final it wasn't as important as a league match against Wigan. But some on here believe he saved the club from bankruptcy when he took over with Eddie behind him which is utter bollocks. We wouldn't be in danger of losing our club if it wasn't for him and he was handsomely paid for his efforts. Anyway he is very ill, so Worthy you are wrong pal don't ever believe Twatter, or Facebook (or the Bolton News for that matter) and you will be ok. Quote
darrener Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 End of the day phils a Bolton fan, a passionate one at that,he's obviously made mistakes, who hasn't in life. I wish him well and hope he makes a full recovery because when push comes to shove "he's one of our own " Quote

Cheese Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Strange how hindsight makes a lot of people think they've known what was going on for years......yet none of them mentioned it at the time. Quote
worthy10 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I haven't thought it, I have been told from someone at the club. Quote

Gartside when asked just gave us the stock answer but he was wrong we could not afford it, anyway we are never going to agree so leave it and lets just wish the poor man well Quote

Casino Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I haven't thought it, I have been told from someone at the club. sometimes its best to stop digging there are people on here who know the facts chapter and verse they wont post because they have the dignity to do what his family have asked which is to allow him privacy in these difficult times Quote
Cheese Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) I haven't thought it, I have been told from someone at the club. Been told what? And by who? If you're not willing to give specifics for some reason, then you might start to understand the "lack of communication" you're complaining about. Edited February 6, 2016 by Cheese Quote

We are paying for bad transfer strategy since we came down. Quote
Rizlar Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Please be respectful to PG and his family I have been through similar it is heartbreaking watching somebody you love fighting for life end of the day this is just football life is way more important. Quote
only1swanny Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I can see why some fans are jumping to that conclusion, with having no communication but if it was you, and you even contemplated saying goodbye to the fans, would you, if all you saw online was abuse and hatred, for a job that you tried your best at?
