SoberDan
Also unbeaten in their last 7, Bromley could do us a favour by ending that run next Saturday, not going to happen tho because Bromley have been on the slide for sometime. Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted December 30, 2015 Site Supporter Share Posted December 30, 2015 I'd be worried if I was worried about Eastleigh. It won't be easy but Christ we are better than these by some considerable margin too - just need to prove it

Take Hunt Off
It was Witton Albion we won 2-1 I think Comstive scored though not from a corner. Since Wembley finals (1923) we have never lost to non league opponents (I think). We lost to Pompey when they were non league in thirly nineteen hundreds & someone else before that. Take Hunt Off
We have quite a record for squeezing past non league opposition same season we negotiated Witton Albion 2-1 also beat Barrow 1-0 before drawing the evil ones at Stretford

Ghana White
I've got a vague memory of Sutton Coldfield getting clapped off the pitch by bolton fans after losing undeservedly at burnden. Gretna gave it a good the year after too.
Take Hunt Off
It was pretty full obviously a large away contingent plus the bucket shakers & neutrals up for the underdog.Until Roy Greaves equalised it was a bit scary. One way traffic second half Byrom Duffy & another for us. 12100 we had the big end. Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted December 31, 2015 Site Supporter Share Posted December 31, 2015 I've just googled, it was 2-1. Maybe I'll try and dream up an extra goal for a few games this season and see where it takes us
SatanGreavsie
2-1 wasn't it?  Comstive and Darby.  Or am I forgetting a goal? In terms of forgetting a goal - I was living in London at the time, couldn't get to it. But got the final score off the radio (R2 it will have been back then not R5 I think) and they gave it as 1-1, silly sods. Then highlights come up hours later on tv and we get to 1-1 and I'm thinking "fair enough, win the replay now" and then the winner pops up to my astonishment. Thought I'd entered some alternate universe...

Dr Faustus
Gretna took the lead in that one. We played in our away kit. Andy Walker and Jason Priestly amongst their ranks... I was about 13, and went on Embankment with my mate, expecting to see three men and a dog... Not a scene from Braveheart

Sweep
Have we ever been beaten by a non league team in the cup? Malc posted on this matter a few weeks ago. I think we've lost 3 times in the cup against teams not in the league  I'm sure he'll be along shortly....
