Maggie Tate
Second best city in the UK after Belfast. Lived right in the centre of Edinburgh for eight months and moved away on getting married, the bitch. One of those cities where you can't get bored, no matter what you do in your spare time. Though it obviously is not as good as Leigh.

Much prefer Glasgow Had my first proper weekend in Glasgow last week. Stayed in the Millenium on St George's Sq. Had tea in Browns on the Friday which was superb. Â Hit the bars around the Xmas markets and argyl street on Saturday whilst the wives went shopping. Smashing pubs.

Walked into one pub on Sauchiehall Street last time I was there and there was a full on brass band (think Brassed Off colliery type band) sat round the tables supping pints and knocking out tunes every now and again.
