tyldesley_white Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Just in , the rural states ( all republican and don't have stay at home orders) have just had a massive jump in cases, Oklahoma up 53%, Arkansas up 60%, Nebraska up 74%, Iowa up 82 % and South Dakota 205 %. These places are not as packed as New York or LA, but they also dont have the hospital infrastructure the the big city's do. Some of the rural area don't have a hospital and those that do only have one or 2 ICU beds The knock on effect is that in Iowa they have had to shut 2 food processing plants and in South Dakota the largest pork processing facility in the US as also had to close, so this could be the start of the food chain starting to fail Quote
