Sweep Posted January 21 Posted January 21 This speech he's giving in Davos is incredible, he's basically slagging off every single country in the world. Every now and then though, it's like he forgets what he's doing, rambles on, and then eventually get back on track. I'm interested to see/hear how the various World leaders react to this. He's currently talking about how he's reduced drugs by thousands of percent for everybody 😁 Quote

Not watching, but he certainly is box office. A bit like a freak show, with badly deformed people on show for everyone to cringe and laugh at. Would like the audience to have sat there in stony silence, then at the end, all walk out en masse, in absolute silence. Leave him there, on his own, wondering... Quote

jmjhb Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Nice bit of warm-up entertainment before the real movers and shakers in the room get down to business Quote
Spider Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Rambling, barely coherent and plainly heavily medicated. It’s easy to see why Bolty loves him so dearly. Like looking in a mirror Quote
Sweep Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Has he just said that China makes windmills, but doesn't have any wind farms? - well that's just an out and out lie, they're have more capacity than anybody else in the world. I often get the points he's trying to make, but the fact he litters everything he says with out and out lies, to "over egg" the situation, just makes him seem bonkers Quote
Sweep Posted January 21 Posted January 21 at least he's said he won't try and take Greenland by force - but he's still going to get it. I guess it looks like we'll be going down the tariff route. Yay. Quote
Bertie Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I think Greenland is fine tbh. He’s moved onto Iceland now. Who knows “whatland” is next….perhaps he hasn’t taken his pills today after all. Quote
Spider Posted January 21 Posted January 21 He’s gone full retard. Worryingly, if it’s vascular dementia he has (and everything points to it being that) he still has a few levels of pure mongolongodingdong to go. Quote

The bloke is off his chops, and knows no better. The stupidity increases when you consider his cancellation of renewables- he doesn't need so much in the way of metals for batteries, magnets etc. The witless fucktard doesn't seem to recognise the business opportunities around developing some of these technologies, so hopefully some of the companies over there may look to move/invest elsewhere- like here! Surely someone in the circles of power there is looking to remove him. Some Americans involved with NATO have apparently apologised to others for his behaviour, so hopefully they'll be putting pressure on. President Reagan all over again as he gradually lost his marbles. He'll be in nappies within a few years. Quote
Spider Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) I notice he’s already backing down on Greenland. Starmer has owned him there like LW does with Miami on Friday night thread. Starmer 1 - Trump 0 Edited January 21 by Spider Quote

Been saying for a couple of years now that Newsom is a fucking obvious Democrat pick to run for President. Hope he doesn't rule himself out next time. Quote

But he does have that 'strong man' leadership style that some people seem to cream their knickers over these days. Quote

Changing their minds, doing things they said they wouldn't, doing things they never said they would, fucking up society etc is definitely a bit of a weakness. On that, the special relationship is still strong... 😀 Quote

He's their version of Starmer granted he's to the left of MAGA Republicans but definitely not much of a lefty. Definitely politically aligned with Cameron era Tories rather than anyone actually lefty Quote
