Whites man Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 did spearing launch the match ball into NSL at the end? nice momento for someone He was aiming for the Upper West though. Quote
Traf Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 How shit were Blackburn? Amongst all the euphoria of a first win in 20-odd and the 6th in a whole fucking year, that quote shouldn't be forgotten. Blackburn were piss poor, we were slightly better. Quote
Cheese Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Nearly cried reading this thread. Jumping round like a FUCKING loon. We won!!! Quote
Ands1 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 What the fek were Prince & Amos upto when the ball was trickling towards goal, for me Amos should of been there sooner to launch it away instead of hitting it into Prince, it's mistakes & confusion like this that needs eradicating if we are to get out of this mess which I beleive we can. Superb win onwards & upwards ???? Quote
Casino Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 prince bollocked amos for not being more decisive a hangover from the fulham game and was it cardiff when he hit his own bar? surely this is what lennon et al are paid to deal with Quote

His actual ability to make saves isn't in question.. Quote
Casino Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) thats as maybe but he doesnt have these issues with our other centre backs oh and while im at it the brain donor behind me at doncaster kept on moaning about his kicking he was the sort of tit who spent 10 years on jussis back Edited December 29, 2015 by Casino Quote

Maybe he's worried a cock up might be made with the current team position or low on confidence. Either way I'd prefer Amos to Bogdan, hopefully bolton can keep him. Quote
only1swanny Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Prince had left the ball for Amos.. Then as Amos hesitated.. Ran at it to clear it. Quote
birch-chorley Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Every week there is a benny hill style calamity in our defence - yesterday it didn't cost us but usually it does i think we have a reasonable defence, however changing it everytime their is a fuck up doesn't help. They just end up so low on confidence they make even more mistakes But that's up to Lennon to fix, I'd stick with the same back 4 and tell them they've got ten games together no matter what. A bit of confidence and we can get back to keeping regular clean sheets Then it's just down to scoring, but with Clough on the pitch I feel like we've got goals in us (if we can keep him) Quote

Should. Quote

Arrested development Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Most of the teams at the bottom of this league are shite. We've won two games all season and are only four points off safety. We should be cut adrift with a record like that. Huddersfield is a winnable game for both sides, we need to keep picking up points and stay in the pack. Quote
Casino Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 You have been going to the wrong games Aye ones involving us Quote
Eavesy Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 thats as maybe but he doesnt have these issues with our other centre backs oh and while im at it the brain donor behind me at doncaster kept on moaning about his kicking he was the sort of tit who spent 10 years on jussis back Amos had to be one of the worst kickers of the football we have ever had. 5 times he hit it out on the full. When he kept it in play he hit Clough rather than Madine or pratley. Which is pathetic. When he sees it go towards Clough and there centre mid or centre back easily wins it and heads it towards one of there own Amos must think Christ that wasn't very good was it. But then he does it again? Quote
Rembrandt Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 We just need a big massive twat in midfield and we should be ok. Should. That was what I wanted us to get last summer. And a striker. But NL thought differently. Quote
MickyD Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Prince had left the ball for Amos.. Then as Amos hesitated.. Ran at it to clear it.As I saw it I don't think Amos shouted to leave it to the keeper. If that's the case then surely it wasn't Prince's call. One thing though, is defending a throw in your own third a better option than defending a ball coming back from punting it upfield as far as possible? I never really got kicking it out for a throw when it seems easier to wrap your foot around it and boot it. Quote
Horwich Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Think ive only see us win 3 times at home in the league this calendar year Quote
Anderson Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Sure I read that we'd only lost 5 times at home under Lennon, can't be arsed checking so it's probably wrong but if not then we really are just short a goalscorer to turn draws into wins. Quote
