If they wanted to make a point about the Tuskegee Airmen, their incredible achievements and the specific hardships they faced, make a series about them. I'm more making a point about the quality of the series and its uneven storytelling than the narrative of the war itself. Becasuse - as I say, the later missions wouldn't have made sense without explaining the supoport they got and where it came from. It would have been stranger to ignore it in my humble opinion.
