That said I’d love May playing free role in behind.
Zog1
No player exists in a team in isolation. Did Charles score so many because he was the focus point of all our attacks and often times our only offensive outlet OR because at this level he's a very competent forward? The lad undeniably has a great recent scoring record at League 1, but he's 30 in July. As such ought we to be offering a big fee? It is effectively dead money on a player that age - no re-sale value. It certainly doesn't fit the sustainability model FV and Evatt operate by. I don't even consider resale value or age. If they are good players, I don't care if they are 35 (eg McGoldrick). If you want to sign better quality its unrealistic to expect it to come without a fee the majority of the time, although yes decent frees can be picked up too. And I don't know what age Adebayajo is but there will be no re-sale value on him, that's also dead money, without the benefit of him being a decent player! Marc505
He'd have scored even more if he was allowed to play for more than an hour of each game!

They were in the hunt for the Championship play offs with a few games to go, they’re literally ‘upward’ from us in terms of leagues. I get where you’re coming from Mounts, and admire your Bolton bias, but if PNE offered him say a 3 year deal this summer (I’m not challenging whether they could afford him or would offer bigger wages) then it would in no way be a downwards move! bwfc87
I’d be very surprised if we considered selling Dion unless for a lot of money. His work rate and the pressing he does is very much what IE needs from our forwards and the fact he gets 20+ goals would make it very hard to replace at this level. Traf
£500k for Charles is literally no profit. Won't happen at that price IMO.

He’s only played 9 pro games and they were at Crewe, a big risk in my opinion, if he turns out another crellin then our automatic play offs could be over pretty quick, surely we can purchase a good experienced solid pro. That was Dabo, the full back. He, tbf, has played 150 or so games for Coventry.
Take Hunt Off
Dabo despite missing the pen in the playoff final was very well thought of at Coventry , would be a very positive signing for us.

He's quick and strong which we probably need, but he doesn't have much finesse about him which is presumably why he's not made it to the top but nonetheless it would be a sensible replacement for Bradley providing we don't pay silly money. Downside is he has a name that doesn't lend itself easily to chants and scored one of the best own goals of all time. paulhanley
We need two keepers, this lad Brighton might be being viewed as the second in the pecking order of those?
tomski
The Brighton lad looks like he’s pretty good going off his clips from Crewe. Yes I’m aware of Daniel Braatan too.
