kent_white Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Budapest fanastic place Culture and it's not your generic tourist let's take the missus (or someone else's missus) away place. Had a cracking time there in January. Despite it being minus 12. I'd love to go back in the summer to see how it changes in the warm weather. Quote

Anyone done Seville or Valencia - usual tips? Gracias Did Seville in 2008 or 2009, hottest place I've ever visited. Obviously some great Tapas bars there and lots of fine architecture especially the Alcazar. Gonzo would love it due it being orange.. Quote
Smiley Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Visited Seville for the day twice from Algarve. Like it. Plenty to see. Quote

buckhurstwhite Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 (edited) Agree with all of that Miami, fine place. If you have time go to Huelva for a day on the beach. A few off here went a few years ago for a jolly. Edited July 1, 2017 by buckhurstwhite Quote

jules_darby Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Jules Junior isn't currently able to fly so we've just embarked on a UK holiday. Not done one since I was a kid. Currently in Gloucester for the night after a day at Thomas Land / Drayton Manor, to break it up for him. Off to Paignton tomorrow for 3 nights, Poole for 3 nights and then home probably via a night in Oxfordshire or summat. Cost a small fortune relative to trips abroad but really looking forward to a different kind of holiday after a cracking first day Quote

He's not allowed to swim / beach yet so here is better for "attractions" Did the steam train and boat cruise at Dartmouth today. Was good, though I felt very young Quote

We're going to Zadar in October. There are loads of nice places in Croatia, I'd recommend the Dalmation coast. Croatia is an amazing place and very safe. http://www.thomson.co.uk/destinations/europe/croatia/dalmatian-coast-and-islands/holidays-dalmatian-coast-and-islands.html Quote
