kent_white
We weren't overly impressed when we went. It's probably ok if you're having a drink before or after your meal though. If you're going to Lucianos, they have a bar area with a pianist, which is nice. This Luciano's - are we talking about that tiny place up at Middlebrook? Con
La Roma is a good place for a nice meal Go La Roma a lot, great place, have you ever been to one of their wine tasting nights? Seven courses of food to match the wines, think it was about 35 quid all in. Really decent stuff to taste as well. Last one they had I had to virtually carry the Mrs home, as the wine flows VERY freely.
tomski
Haha sounds good. I'm no wine buff tbf. We did go once when they were having a full on Barney in Italian which was good when my dad interrupted in Italian and they looked a bit sheepish
globaldiver
Went to The Rivington (nee Il Toro) last night. Very good and passes the two essentials for Bolton; decent fodder and plenty of it. Also enjoyed a nice bottle of red, not on the wine list, probably stuff from Il Toro. Generally a bit cheaper than competitors.

Definitely a twice a year treat Not been for a few months now, so will try and sneak in San Marino is a good do, but a bit of a trek for you
